Mercedes Kids Marathon

I have been involved with the Mercedes Kids Marathon for a long, long time. In fact, this is my 15th or 16th year of organizing this event, first at Valley Elementary and most recently at Pelham Oaks.

Why? The answer is simple.....it promotes family fitness and goal setting. It also gives our students an opportunity to celebrate their success.

After you register your child, shoot us an email or write us a note. That way we can start helping them complete the necessary mileage during our Panther Runner days. We will be certain that your child completes at least 15 miles. Depending on the weather, we may help them earn more. We do ask that you run/walk/jog with your child and help them finish at least 10 miles. We will send home a log sheet to help you record these miles. The time that you spend with your child being active will create memories that last a lifetime....plus the entire family will be getting fit together.
